1. Change-of-Mind Returns and Cancellations
We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, except where required by applicable law.
You may request to cancel your order or remove items from your order within 15 minutes of placing it by contacting us at shokupan@littlecardigan.com.
After this 15-minute period, we may be unable to cancel or modify your order once processing or shipping preparation has begun. This does not affect any cancellation or withdrawal rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
Unless required by applicable law, customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns where such returns are permitted.
2. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as possible if your item is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered.
Please email shokupan@littlecardigan.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs where applicable.
We will review the issue and work with you to resolve it in accordance with our obligations under applicable consumer protection laws. Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, this may include a replacement, repair, refund, or another appropriate remedy.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.
3. International Orders and Statutory Rights
Our returns and cancellation policy is subject to applicable consumer protection laws in the country where you reside. If local law provides you with additional rights, those rights will apply.
European Union (EU)
If you are a consumer in the EU and purchase goods online, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after receiving your goods, without giving a reason, unless a legal exemption applies.
If you exercise this right, you must notify us within the applicable 14-day period and return the goods within 14 days after notifying us.
We will refund eligible orders within 14 days of being informed of your withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.
Eligible refunds include the product price and the cost of standard delivery, where paid. Additional costs for express or premium delivery beyond the standard delivery cost are not refundable under this right.
United Kingdom (UK)
If you are a consumer in the UK and purchase goods online, you generally have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days after receiving your goods, unless a legal exemption applies.
You must notify us of your decision to cancel within this period and return the goods within 14 days after notifying us.
We will refund eligible orders within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.

For both EU and UK orders, customers may be responsible for return shipping costs where permitted by applicable law and where the required information has been provided before purchase.
